Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Conduct variance analysis to help management make informed financial decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
