Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage multi-currency general ledger operations and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow forecasting
- Lead month-end closing procedures and audit documentation preparation
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through virtual collaboration tools
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 5+ years experience in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Proven expertise in UK tax compliance and VAT procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with remote accounting software implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
