Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting cycles including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
- Lead process optimization initiatives for remote accounting workflows
- Prepare and present financial statements to senior stakeholders
- Maintain robust internal controls and documentation systems
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in fintech or professional services
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of delivering accurate financial reporting under tight deadlines
