Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial data.
