Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and audits
- Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and reconciliations
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
