Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, correct coding, and necessary approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP sub-ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Assist with expense reports and general ledger account analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high accountability.
