Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and/or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
