Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow reports.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process and prepare necessary schedules.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices.
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable workflows to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven expertise in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
