Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for remote or hybrid work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
