Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during review periods.
- Process payroll and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
