Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for corporate clients
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct tax compliance research and reporting for multi-state operations
- Mentor junior accountants using cloud-based accounting platforms
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders through data visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data
- Excellent written/verbal communication for client interactions
