Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee daily general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with changing tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify risks and implement control measures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and financial reporting accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and manage fixed asset accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
