Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external auditors during audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) to streamline financial workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
