Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex general ledger operations and ensure accurate account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capital
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance reviews
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data
- Proven experience managing remote teams and virtual collaboration tools
