Responsibilities
- Process and post patient and client invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and appeals promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize revenue collection processes.
- Maintain and update billing records and patient information in our CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare billing regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency with billing software (Epic, Cerner, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
