- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage A/R aging reports and resolve payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with coding departments to ensure compliance
- Implement process improvements for billing efficiency
- Train junior staff on billing protocols
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing systems
- Coordinate with collections team for overdue accounts
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic EMR and NextGen billing platforms
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare finance or related field
