Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements and regulatory filings
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial systems and internal controls
- Mentor junior accountants and provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
