Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end closing processes for portfolio companies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal audits
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and industry regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling experience
- Strong understanding of tax compliance requirements
- Experience with multi-state entity structures
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects
