Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholdings for night-shift employees
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable cycles with emphasis on overnight processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement SOX compliance measures
- Support cross-departmental financial reporting needs
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for real-time financial tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
