Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare accurate VAT returns, tax computations, and statutory filings for UK entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain general ledger integrity
- Develop and implement robust internal controls for remote financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using cloud-based accounting platforms
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain compliance with UK GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience with UK entities
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks Online, and SAP S/4HANA
- Proven ability to manage remote workflows with minimal supervision
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and financial modelling capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
- Strong communication skills for virtual stakeholder management
