Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including accruals and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP/SEC compliance
- Develop financial models and support budget forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Remote work experience with self-management capabilities
