Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-month-end accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate external audit preparations
- Develop and implement robust internal controls for financial systems
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with multi-state operations
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record in managing full-cycle accounting processes
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and SOX compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
