Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to UK GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct comprehensive financial audits and compliance reviews
- Develop and maintain robust accounting systems for multi-currency operations
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Expertise in UK GAAP and international financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing remote teams and virtual collaboration tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
