Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions
- Conduct financial audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience managing remote finance teams preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization
