Responsibilities
- Perform daily, monthly, and year-end financial reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including adjusting entries and financial reporting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, verifying invoice accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses for management review.
- Conduct internal audits and provide detailed documentation to external auditors during their visits.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all supporting documentation is organized and accessible.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a preference for night shift or high-volume processing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and resolve errors efficiently.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
