Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and reconciliation logs for the night shift review.
- Conduct thorough audits of financial records, expense reports, and invoices to prevent discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work a full-time night shift schedule.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
