Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures during designated weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for executive review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably with a focus on closing cycles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax regulations.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
