Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all weekend staff.
- Prepare and review weekly financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the month-end closing process by preparing necessary adjusting entries.
- Maintain and organize financial files and records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist external auditors with weekend audits or inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
