The Role:
As an AP Specialist, you will be the guardian of our cash flow. You will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all vendor transactions.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts (3-way matching).
- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly statements for key vendors.
- Assist in the month-end closing process and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
