Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring regulatory compliance (UK GAAP/IFRS)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles for international client portfolios
- Lead month-end reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
- Implement and optimize accounting controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and Oracle systems
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate accounting
- Proven expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- SAP and Oracle ERP system experience essential
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Night shift availability with flexibility for quarterly reporting periods
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
