Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage daily general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Assist external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Streamline internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
