Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial systems
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation for regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder presentations
