Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Prepare variance analyses and budget forecasts for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
