Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Knowledge of Wisconsin tax regulations and compliance
