Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Experience with GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- CPA certification is a plus.
