Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analysis reports for executive review.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and assist in long-term financial forecasting.
- Ensure full compliance with SOX, GAAP, and internal control policies.
- Manage external audits and coordinate with external tax consultants.
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable workflows to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Active CPA license or CMA certification is required.
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
