Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with external and internal audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis to management.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • CPA certification is a significant plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
