Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive review and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
