Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Compliance: Monitor internal controls and ensure all financial processes comply with federal and state regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies in accounting workflows and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Audit Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation of all accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
