Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasting models.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and software usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
