Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and improve cash flow efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and internal control assessments
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Lead process improvements to enhance accounting accuracy and operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and trends
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
