Role Overview:
As our Senior Accountant, you will oversee our daily accounting functions, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and prepare essential financial statements. This is an immediate hire position, meaning we are looking to fill this role quickly to meet our growing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create accurate budget forecasts and financial models.
- Oversee the payroll process and ensure accurate disbursement of funds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
