Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecast reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
