We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a full-time position offering immediate hire opportunities for the right candidate. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger accounting and prepare accurate financial statements on a monthly basis.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax provisions.
- Conduct internal audits to improve the efficiency of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
