Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead end-to-end month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Manage VAT returns, tax computations, and HMRC communications
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for stakeholders
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- 5+ years in practice or industry accounting role
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Experience with Xero/QuickBooks/Sage 200 software
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
