Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by maintaining proper financial records.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist with external audits.
- Streamline internal controls and financial reporting workflows to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
