Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecasts for future growth.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
