We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our finance team in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports for internal leadership review.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying invoice accuracy and coding.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures, including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial data to ensure strict compliance with company policies.
- Support the payroll department by calculating and verifying time worked and deductions.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or finance roles.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
