Responsibilities
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general ledgers.
- Transaction Processing: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure account balances are correct.
- Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients and ensure timely payment collection.
- Payroll Support: Assist with basic payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and financial statements for management review.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
