Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, coordinating with external auditors and tax professionals.
  • Conduct monthly close procedures and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
